Can you repair a liquid damaged phone?

Hi! My phone, Nokia E72, recently broke. I took it to the shop, where it has been diagnosed as being "liquid damaged". They gave me a photo to prove it as well. The thing is, before I gave it in, the phone was working fine, it kept freezing periodically, but it was at least turning on! After they have returned it to me, it doesn't even turn on, or charge.

Can it be repaired?

I'm sorry to hear about that. But I just have had a similar experience like yours. A few days ago, I've dropped my Nokia E52 into a toilet bowl. Then I took it to the repair center immediately. Unfortunately, the staff there opened the case of my mobile for me and the circuit board was already rusty. The staff said it cannot have been fixed.

The only way to repair them is to replace the board inside and these generally cost more than the phone itself, so not worth doing. A service center will do it for you but it wouold cost a lot of money. It's cheaper just to buy same phone again.

take the battery out AND LEAVE IT OUT, for at least 48 hours, get a ziplock bag and fill it as full as you can with rice, drop the phone in and seal it up. wait about 2 days, keep it in a cool dry place, so like on your dresser or something, leave it alone, i know its hard, but leave it alone for two days and take it out and try it, another thing you can do it drop it into a cup of rubbing alcohol, i know that sounds stupid, but it will displace the water and then evaporate, another thing that helps is those little baggys of silicone beads that always say "DO NOT EAT" on them, those are handy to put in with the rice if you can find any layin around.

hope this helps.
