I would like to know in case (1) I breath in Potassium Iodide or (2) when it irritates my eyes,what emergency action should be taken?

KI is just like NaCl , is a stable salt no harm to breath in some . Use plenty water to rinse your eyes no particular precaution is required . KI is a stable white salt with low toxicity in fact it is used to protect radioactive iodine to hurt our thyroid !
