respectively. Fing the area bounded by the x-axis, 3x-4y=24 and the
perpendicular bisector of AB.



2. If a straight line cuts the axes at (a,0) and (0,b), (that is the x-intercept= a,
y-intercept= b, show that the equation of the straight line is (x/a)+(y/b)=1.

Hence, write down an equation of the straight line which passes through
(-3,0) and (2,0)
(a) in an intercept form
(b) in slope-intercept form



3. In triangle ABC, P, Q and R are mid- point of AB, BC and CA respectively
where A=(4,4), B=(0,0) and C=(6,0).
(a) Find the equations of the medians AQ and CP.
(b) Find the coordinates of the centriod.
(c) Find the coordinates of the circumcentre.
(d) Fing the coordinates of the orthocentre.
