beach 一定要加the?點解???仲有咩字係咁

Generally, you say "I go to the beach". "I lie on the beach".
除非 beach 是一個地方,一個區域, 但要capital letter, Beach 是加拿大一個區域名稱.

On the whole, you had better say "I go to the beach".

 
I went to school in England. (是上學)
I went to the school yesterday.(是 particular that school)

He left the school at eleven o'clock yesterday morning.

你miss話the係「指定」看來你不明白「指定」的意思。
這「指定」只是the的其中一個理解，正如你說如果是指定的某個沙灘便用the，但你的想法是「我只是說我去/想去沙灘玩」，但你要明白中文跟英文有點不同的是你說的這沙灘是個地方，在中文名詞只要寫出這名詞，大家便明白是實在的一處沙灘，但英語人看beach只是一個名稱，要加上表達跟所說情景的關係才構成句子。所以用the並不是那beach是否指定，而是這詞只能告訴你它是甚麼，但未足夠告訴你它的狀況跟句中主角的關係。

the beach的意思不是指一指定的beach，反而是如果不指明the，beach是不能存在在「你去」的這種關係中的，意思是「你去」的一定是一個「有」的地方。

如果你想說我去一個我沒所謂那一處的沙灘，也要用article"a"。
I go to a beach.
