letter for quitting school

Dear Mr. Principal,I wish to inform you that as from the beginning of next term, I shall not be able to continue my studies in school.This is because my father can no longer to afford to send me to school as he has been out of employment for nearly a year. So I shall have to find a job myself to help support my family.In conclusion, I wish to thank you and all the teachers for the kindness and guidance I have received in all my years at school. You may be sure that even though I am leaving XXX School, I shall never forget our school motto and I shall forever try to lead a good and useful life just as you have always taught us.
