沒有理由現在不立刻離去。意思是：是應該離開(行動)。
沒有理由現在便離去。意思是：是應刻留下來(離開是不合理的)。

there is a man standing next to the tree.的standing是描述一種狀況，所以用gerund。那男人是「站」在樹旁。如果用中文思考英文語法很難看出這「站」的意思是「站著」的狀態還是「站立」的動作。你應該從形象法來思考英文可能會活一點。這句就不可以用to stand了。但如果改成That man was called to stand next to the tree便可以表示那男人是因為被人指示要站在那樹旁。是一個行為/行動的意思。
