形容他昨天看過電視,

he was watch the television /
he watched the television.

解釋那句正確?

嚴格說,兩句都不正確。1. he was watch the television
加 was,就是轉成被動。was watched 意思就係被監視。這句不正確。2. he watched the television
時態、用字都正確,但道理上不對。因為他是看電視節目;而不是看著電視機。所以,應寫成:
he watched the television programme.

「He watched the television yesterday.」呢句就係形容「他昨天看過電視」

如果想簡化咁講,可以係「He watched TV yesterday.」

唔需要係"television"後面加"programme",正常人都知「看電視」係指「睇電視節目」,而唔係「望住個電視」。
如果係「望住個電視」,就會係「He looked at the television.」

He watched the television. - This sentence is absolutely correct.
 
Television has two meanings.

1- a piece of electrical equipment with a screen on which you can watch programme with moving picture and sound.
 
2. the programme broadcast on television.
 
"He watched the television" does not mean "He looked at the television for a time." It means "He watched the TV programme." Well, this sentence is acceptable.
