Hello, I'd like to know the exact meaning of the word "statement building", it sounds strange to me and I can't find the word in dictionaries. Is there any difference between a simple building and a "statement building"?

I think I heard this used before to mean a building that "makes a statement" ie that its design transmits certain ideals or values or that the owner has certain qualities.
