The amount of stock on hand at the end of financial period is entered in the books by passing an entry through the Journal and then post to the ledger accounts, namely Dr stock account, Cr Trading account.

在手頭上的股票數額在財政期間結束時輸入的書籍，通過傳遞一個條目日刊然後郵寄到分類賬戶，即博士股票帳戶，鉻交易賬戶。

每當年結時候，由於部份購貨尚未銷出而產生存貨。因此為反映正確銷售成本，要將購貨中未銷出部份以日記賬形式轉往存貨：
DR. Stock (存貨) Cr. Cost of Goods Sold/Purchases/Trading Account
而Cr. side 係因應題目而作出。如果係General Account 即係大科目睇就會去呢個Account，但係以個別科目就以Cost of Goods Sold/Purchases入賬。
