The area of a parallelogram is equal to the area of a triangle. The geight of the triangle is 5 cm. If the two figures have the same base, find the height of the parallelogram. Let hte height of the parallelogram be h cm and their base be b cm.

Let A cm^2 be the area of both the parallelogram and triangle,A for triangle = 5b/2 = 2.5b cm^2
A for parallelogram = hb cm^2
2.5b = hb
h = 2.5
Hence, height of parallelogram is 2.5cm
