原來係咁？不過香港好似普遍對stupid呢個字，覺得冇咁嚴重。如果想形容人愚蠢，冇咁侮辱性既話，可以用邊個字呢？(香港好似普遍用stupid既多....=_=)
stupid同foolish有咩唔同？

Stupid is foolish ten times over........its foolish to a greater degree.Its stupid to jump off a cliff.......its foolish to think about jumping off a cliff.I hope you now understand the difference.

Stupid means 愚蠢的, 笨的
e.g. It is stupid to do such a thing. 做這種事真蠢。
Foolish means 傻的
e.g. How foolish I was not to have bought it. 我沒買下它真是太傻。

Usually, we don't use stupid to describe a person because it is quite insulting and rude to use this word.
