a cylinder and the cone have the same height the radius of the base of the cylinder is twice that of the cone if the vol of the cone is 10cm3 what is the vol of the cylinder?

Let r be the radius of the cone and cylinder be r and 2r , the height be h :The volume of the cone = (1/3) h * πr^2 = 10cm^3So h * πr^2 = 30The volume of the cylinder = h * π(2r)^2 = 4h * πr^2 = 4*30 = 120 cm^3
