It is because he may fall from height.

Robber.
It is because he may be arrested by the police.

There should be no s for the word equipment.

There are many dangerous jobs.
Take firemen as an example.

Reasons:

They have to put out the fire regardless of whether
the scene is bad.

They get hurt like spraining easily although they wear protective
equipments.
