Comment:
(b) tiring (g) frightening

It must be tiring to walk all day.
It must be boring to walk all day.
It must be interesting to walk all day.

a frightening film.
a boring film.
an interesting film. (We don't say an interested film.)

Most of the time, we use present participle (verb + ing) to describe a noun, especially a thing. There are some exceptions.

It is the same tired old faces at these meetings. [tired (adj) here means not interesting because they are familiar].
Do you see the similarity ?
