✔ 最佳答案
1. It is because "watch" is followed by a noun or gerund.
2. Any verbs after "prefer + to "pattern must be changed
into a gerund ( verb + ing). So, "watching" and "feeding"
are a gerund. For " run", please refer to my explanation of
Question 1.

第一句 emus running(vi) around. *running是prensent participle as verb.
......火鷄(object) 到處(adv) 走(vi)....gerund只能作(動)名詞,不宜在這句裡.

第二句 爲什麼要加ing ? 主要是一完整句子只容納一個主動詞pv.
......其它所有含動作的詞, 就要用non-finite verb如下三種 :

1, infinitive as NOUN,ADJ,ADV.

2, gerund as NOUN as subject, object, complement. used in prep. phrase.

3, participle as VERB, ADJ, ADV.來分担演繹.

to feeding = gerund as noun in prepositional phrase.

running = 第一句講咗.

prefer watching = present participle as adv describe the verb=prefer.

唔好一見到v~+ing就是gerund, 要看看前後左右才可定.
