Dear Mum and Dad

It's been three days since I _(1) LEFT_ home and I already _(2) MISS_ you a lot, but
Linda and I are _(3) HAVING_ a great time here in Shanghai. Uncle Liu _(4) TOOK_ a day off yesterday and we _(5)WENT_ on a sightseeing tour of the city. Today it'll be
Aunt Sally's turn to _(6) SHOW_ us around. They've been very kind.

Shanghai is a big and beautiful city. So far, we've _(7) BEEN_ to the Yuyuan
Gardens and the Bazaar, the Jin Mao Building and the Shanghai Museum.
Uncle Liu says there's a lot more to _(8) SEE_ and I can't wait!

The first place that we visited, the Yuyuan Gardens, is _(9) PACKED_ with local people as well as tourists. It's _(10) KNOWN_ to have been built by the wealthy Pan family during the Ming Dynasty, and it contains many beautiful plants, pavilions and ponds.

Right next to the Gardens is the Yuyuan Bazaar, where there are many
souvenirs to _(11) BROWSE_. I've _(12) BOUGHT_ some presents for you both, and I'm_(13) SURE_ you'll like them.

Jin Mao Building is among the tallest buildings in the world. You get a
beautiful _(14) VIEW_ of the city from the top, but at a price. Believe it or not,
we had to _(15) PAY_ $50 each to _(16) GO_ to the top!

I'm afraid I must stop here, but will tell you about the museum in my
