The Texas GOP and Montana GOP both seem intent on re instituting them. Why? How can regulating the bedroom of two consenting adults possibly be good in any way?

the really messed up thing is if someone did get charged with Sodomy (consenual or not) he'd end up on the Sex offenders list. How ridiculous is that?

It's kind of ridiculous. In order for the laws to be legal, the laws must apply to everyone. It would be just as illegal for a man to have anal sex with his wife as it would for a man to do it with his boyfriend. It would be just as illegal for a teenage girl to perform fellatio on her boyfriend as it would for a gay couple to. Again, absurd measures.
