How calculate garment costing

Urgent! Please could anyone help me how to calculate the costing of garment. What is the basic formula of calculating the costing. Also please could you let me know what is the meaning of "yield" when calculating the costing. Thank you!

yield is consumption per garment, example :
ladies solid color woven blouses basic style 2 pieces collar button open front long set-in sleeves with cuffs US missy size about 1.75 to 2.00 yards fabric cuttable width 44/45" incl fabric cutting loss.
