I am playing this game at this moment and found that to get the recipes, I need to give ingredient(s) to either the Cafe or the Diner. However, almost every recipe requires more than one ingredient. How do I give all the ingredients to the chef(s)??
I asked because I once gave the Cafe an onion, she said she could not do anything with it. I have been talking to her everyday and she did give me a recipe for boiled egg just the previous day.

You don't have to give them every item, just one and they will do the rest. In order to make it yourself you'll need every item, but not to get the recipe. The reason your onion won't work is because she doesn't know any recipes that uses onions. You will have to give her something else if you want another recipe.
