a few years ago, I bought a window XP computer and Canon printer, everything was fine, but recently I have bought a window 7 computer, and I am trying install the software of the printer into the window 7 computer. Here's the problem: I cannot install the software. What can I do? I don't want to buy a new printer everytime when I buy a new computer with a new window version.

Notice: due to the lack of information provided in question, the following answer is not detailedIn some cases, the driver for Windows XP may be unable to use in Windows 7. However it doesn't mean the hardware is not compatible with newer OS. Manufacturers normally offer drivers for new OSes via Internet (especially recent hardware models). You may check Canon website if there is a driver of your printer model for Windows 7.

你去 Canon 的網站看有沒有兼容 Win7 的驅動程式。若沒有可以電郵回 Canon，若他們說不會支援 Win7。那麼你只能買新的 Printer 或用舊的系統。
其實很我舊的 IT 產品都會有這類問題，包括軟件。很多都是「特意」的，只要在這些循環下，才會有人「消費」，不然怎樣賺錢？
忍受不了，改變不到，就不要用。軟、硬件週期，大約是五年一次。若不幸在「週期尾」買，可用的週期就會變短。
