scarcity - does it exist in a one-man economy?

Yes if this man has unlimited wants. In comparison to his unlimited wants, any economic goods should be relatively scarce. For example, he wants to eat 10 fish per day but there are only 7 fish can be caught per day. Then, he faces scarcity in terms of eating fish.

scarcity exists even if there is only one man, as long as his wants are unlimited (by assumption) in comparsion with the limited resources on earth.
