這兩問句驟眼看來確並沒什麽大不同, 但第一句Where have you gone? 似是老闆剛四處找雇員而找不到而見到雇員時問他剛才那裏去了, 帶有不悅,不太愉快,的查問語氣如," Jessica, I have been looking for you everywhere; where have you gone ?" 而回答者則沒什麽 特殊規定, 如例句中的Jessica 可以答" Well, I have just been to the washroom(or lavatory)."或" I have gone to see the doctor for a sudden bowel discomfort."
至於Where have you been ? 就較常用亦很多塲合會用得着, 如口頭禪的問對方剛才曾往那裏去了, 對方可以隨便答, 如 "I have been to the cinema with
Mary." 甚至乎不客氣地答" None of your business; you nosy parker." 亦可以。

I have gone to the Ocean Park or I have been to the Ocean Park.

Where have you been?
I have been to the Ocean Park

They have similar meaning & got the same answer if you go to the same place like the examples above mentioned

Q2. Where have you been?

(at home)

Now you are in Ocean Park.
'Where have you gone' is you are still in Ocean Park;
'Where have you been' is now you are at home, but went to Ocean Park before.
