production artist from graphic design company relate to computer science?

i work for few months in a graphic design company as a production artist using adobe softwares, then it's burnt out, then i go back to school for a computer science degree. So does the work i did as a production artist going to mean anything when i looking a programming job? does that few months of experience mean anything to me now?

Yeah, sure, it's experience working in the software industry. It's always valuable, and would usually be considered relevant experience.
