Weight of the box, F = 12 x 10 = 120 N(a)
Area of face A, A = 3 x 2 = 6 m²
Pressure = F/A = 120/6 = 20 N m¯²
(b)
Area of face B, A = 4 x 2 = 8 m²
Pressure = F/A = 120/8 = 15 N m¯²
(c)
Area of face C, A = 4 x 3 = 12 m²
Pressure = F/A = 120/12 = 10 N m¯²
