Since BCDE is a square with side = 1 cm, so BC = 1 cm.Since ABC is a equilateral triangle, that is 3 sides are of same length, so AB = BC = 1 cm.
Since AB = 1 cm. and BF = 1 cm. (given), so AB = BF.
(Note : Cannot find the figure, answer is purely based on question description.)
