What is the more popular MLB team in Connecticut? Yankees or Red Sox?

I-84 pretty much splits the state across the middle. Those north of 84 tend to root for the Sox while those south of 84 are Yankee fans. Exceptions are the east part of the state borders Rhode Island and the west part of the state borders New York so North and East are Boston fans while South and West are Yankee fans.

I live about 10 miles south of 84 but I'm an Indians fan. My son likes the Red Sox though.

I think it depends on how close to NYC you live. The southeaster corner is a bedroom community and Yankee fans. As you move away, the Sox tend to take over. Try following the New Brittain Rock Cats and become a Twins fan and mess with everyone.
