Dan：1)He watched TV last night.的watched已經是一個過去式主動詞, 所以不須亦文法上不可以再加一個叫' 動詞是'-----如am, was, is, are, were, shall, will等
任何一個在它(主動詞)的後面。
2)Had是過去完成式動詞, 它多有特殊意思才用如：
Had you read that book before you started with this one?
在你開始(看)這本書之前已經看完過(had read)了那一本了嗎?
Did you read that book?文法上也沒錯, 但用法要看塲合(上文下理)如：
Did you read that book? If you did, I am going to ask you some questions
about it
你讀過了(Did you read)那書了嗎 ?如你有, 我現在就問你一些有關它的問題。
這樣用did就對了。

........be + pp成為被動式 就不知所謂. 我們往往被個(是be)字玩死,
........中文就ok,=他昨晚是睇咗tv.
Q2, : Had you read that book? 是一問句,have/has/had+pp = perfect tense.
........=你已經讀完那本書嗎 ? 單是這一句,不用接另一句也可以.

BE+PP(PRESENT PARTICIPLE) 係被動式，所以He was(BE) watched(PP) TV last night完全錯.
Had you read that book亦錯得很緊要，呢個係過去完成式，通常不會用在SIMPLE SENTENCE，反而用DID就可以。

1)past perfect:
談論一個過去的行動比另一個過去的行動早結束
~watched TV 只有一個行動(action),沒有兩個
2)你也可以使用Did,但Had比較合適D
