When I used IE6, I typed an address e.g. windows, then Ctrl Enter, the address would become www.windows.com

But now I am using IE7, Ctrl Enter will make the address www.windows.com.tw

Why? and How can I fix it?

I have another PC using IE8, it has the same problem.

Open REGEDIT and navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
Under it, create a key call QuickComplete
Open it, then make a string value there, also called QuickComplete
Then enter the string http://www.%s.com
Restart IE. Viola!

PS. IE7 is dumped, "upgrade" to IE8 now But be prepared with quite some minor problems. Why don't you try out Mozilla Firefox?
