Very disappointed. Fake friendship??????

I have known this guy for a long time (since college), and we got along pretty well. He often encourages me to do things to accomplish my goal. However, now that my goal has come true, and he no longer talks to me. He's avoiding my calls, emails and text messages. I'm very disappointing. He faked the friendship, and he really didn't want me to succeed. You really can' t trust people in this world but yourself.
