caused for 點解?

第一句你沒錯如：The mistake caused by you makes him angry.
(你導至的錯失令他憤怒。)
第二句就錯了, 句中的for 不應存在,加了就文法錯,句子無for字如下句就對：
I am sorry that my question causes you a lot of time to
answer.
(我很抱歉我的問題令你費很多時間去答覆。)
當cause用作名詞(noun)時就可用for字在後面了,如：
I don't see any cause for alarm.
(我看不到有任何恐慌的因由)
Is there any cause for your delay?
(你有任何延遲的因由嗎 ?)
