問句轉做Passive voice 問句

Just treat it as those simple questions.

1. Does Peter bend this ruler?
Is this ruler bent by Peter?

2. Did Johnny break the vase?
Was the vase broken by Johnny?

這裏有些不同Tense的例子:
1.Present tense:
Active voice:Mary BREAKS the vase.
Passive voice:The vase IS BROKEN by Mary.

2.Present continuous tense:
Active voice:Mary IS BREAKING the vase.
Passive voice:The vase IS BEING BROKEN by Mary.

3.Present Perfect tense:
Active voice:Mary HAS BROKEN the vase.
Passive voice:The vase HAS BEEN BROKEN by Mary.

4.Past tense:
Active voice:Mary BROKE the vase.
Passive voice:The vase WAS BROKEN by Mary.

5.Past continuous tense:
Active voice:Mary WAS BREAKING the vase.
Passive voice:The vase WAS BEING BROKEN by Mary.

6.Past Perfect tense:
Active voice:Mary HAD BROKEN the vase.
Passive voice:The vase HAD BEEN BROKEN by Mary.

7.Future tense :
Actice voice:Mary WILL BREAK the vase./Mary SHALL BREAK the vase.
Passive voice:The vase WILL BE BROKEN by Mary.

Pay attention:
1.一定要用PAST PARTICIPLE (p.p)
2.在例子中,by Mary可不寫.

The school is gone???????????????????????????????????????????

Sometimes, the subject could be deleted
For example, Robber robbed Tom.
It is not correct to say that,
Tom is robbed by the robber. (x)
Tom is robbed (OK)

By the same logic,
I go to school
--> The school is gone by me. =_,=
--> The school is gone.... = V =

Active voice: Did John break the glass?
Passive voice: Was the glass broken by John?

Active voice: Who took my umbrella away?
Passive voice: By whom was my umbrella taken away?

Active voice: How do you answer the question?
Passive voice: How is the question answered?
