An isosceles trapezoid has base angles of 45° and bases of lengths 9 and 15. The area of the trapezoid is

36 sq. units
67.5 sq. units

½ x a x (b1 + b2)
= ½ x ((15 - 9) ÷ 2 x tan45º) x (9 + 15)
= ½ x (6 ÷ 2 x 1) x 24
= ½ x 3 x 24
= 36

We can't tell because the formula for a trapezoid's area is:

Area = a*(b1+b2)/2

where b1 = the length of one base
b2 = the other base's length
and a = altitude (the distance between the bases)

The altitude is not provided in the question, but if you give us a measure of one of the trapezoid's legs we can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the altitude.
