其實where本身就有to, at , in what place的意思,所以當問問題的時候,就不會再用in, to, at等介詞,如:

Where do you live?(而不說where do you live in?)
Where are you going?(而不說where are you going to?)

但因為where沒有from what place之意,故我們會問
Where do you come from?

Whose car did you go in?

Where did you go(yesterday)?
Where did you go in(yesterday)?"
Whose car did you go in ? Whose car did you get in ?
若是問人進入誰的屋子裏則用go in 或get in 也一樣適合。
