trying to make LM386 work with different capacitors?

Heres the schematic but the problem is that it says I need a 250uF and a 0.05uF
I was wondering if it is possible to use a capacitor with XmF amount of capacitance if so what would you reccomend I use since all I have are capacitors in the mF range of capacitance
Thanks in advance

1 mF = 1000µF

note that many manufacturers (incorrectly) use mF to indicate µF. So if you have a cap labeled 10 mF, it is probably 10µF

The 0.05µF, which is 50 nF, should not be changed in value.
The 250 µF cap determines the low frequency cutoff. A smaller value will cause you to lose some lower frequencies, in other words.

I guess the m may not be representing "mili" (one thousandth). Capacitors are rarely expressed in units of one thousandth of a Farad. They are usually expressed in micro-Farad even though it may have three or more zeros following. Supercap uses F as capacitance unit.

In the early days of ham radio, capacitance is sometimes expressed in units of MFD, which also stands for micro-Farad.
