It sounds you are taking a wrong route because:
1. U.S. legal system does not distinguish solicitor and barrister, but simply attorney.
2. U.S. law school graduates do not necessary get admitted to Hong Kong (either solicitor or barrister) as they may have to go through bridging courses.
3. U.S. law school is considered as a graduate school, which minimum admission requirement is a Bachelor Degree or above. Simply saying, you need to double your investment (money) and time in order to get a law degree in the U.S.
4. A licensed attorney does not get admitted, as similar to #2 above, as well.
