Past Continuous tense 的問題

Past Continuous tense 主要有兩個用法:
a) 兩個過去動作比較
長時間動作: past continuous / 短時間動作: simple past

I was having dinner when the bell rang.
門鐘在我食飯期間響 (食飯時間一定長過門鐘響)

She saw a ghost while she was doing homework.
她在做功課時見鬼 (做功課一定比見鬼時間長)

b) 過去動作指明間:
What were you doing at 4:30pm yesterday?
I was sleeping at that time.

**** 如果沒有指明 4:30pm, 用simple past tense:
What did you do yesterday?
I went to the park.
