first do the stuff in the paranthesis:
[22 + 9 x (2)]/5
then multiply 9 and 2:
[22 + 18]/5
add 22 and 18:
40/5
= 8.

answer: 8

Following the PEMDAS rule,

Parenthesis first (solve all values inside parenthesis)
Exponent
MD = Multiplication or Division. Whatever comes first from left to right
AS = Addition and Subtraction. Whatever comes first

[ 22 + 9 x (15 - 13) ] / 5 =Solve inside parenthesis

= [ 22 + 9 x (2) ] / 5 = Do multiplication

= [ 22 + 18 ] / 5 = Add

= 40 / 5 =Divide. You might wonder why division is last here. It's because, we solve all values in numerator before dividing it to the denominator.

= 8

Hope this helps!

15-13=2. 2 times 9 is 11. 11+22 is 33. 33 divided by 5 is 6.6, or 6 3/10.
