Below is the explanation.

Something like that = informal spoken English是一個獨立詞組(not a sentence), (三字連用) = 大概如此
e.g. They pay six pounds an hour. Something like that.
It is not like “things like”/ “something like”….. 與其他相似字實不同用法/意思

Could you show you something like that - orange apple or manago?

Those oranges are fresh but these apples are not fresh..

That is my mango and those are Mary's.

Something like that (kind of stuff); something like that (situation); something like that (condition).

The word 'that' has nothing to do with singular or plural. It is not the same as this/those.
