The base diameter of cylindrical pipe is 3cm.If water flows into the pipe at a
speed of 0.9m/s,find the volume of water flowing out of the pipe in 1 minutes?

Speed = Distance/Time
Now speed = 0.9m/s = 90 cm/s, time = 1 min. = 60 sec.
So distance = length of pipe travelled = 90 x 60 = 5400 cm.
So volume = 5400 x (pi)(3/2)^2 = 5400 x pi x 9/4 = 38170 cm^3.

速度 = 距離/時間
現在的速度 = 0.9米每秒 = 90 厘米每秒, 時間 = 1 分鐘 = 60 秒
所以距離 = 水管所移動的長度= 90 x 60 = 5400 cm.
所以容量 = 5400 x (pi)(3/2)^2 = 5400 x pi x 9/4 = 38170 cm^3.
