英文 " if " 同 "when" 的分別

一般用法如下
不同:意思:
If = 如果/假如
e.g. If it rains, we’ll cancel the picnic.
如果下雨, 旅行將會取消。

When (conj) =當/正當/時/期間
e.g. I was having lunch when the telephone rang.
我吃午飯時, 電話響起來。

意思接近:
1. “When” is used to mention a type of event or condition when talking about what happens on occasion of that type:
=在某情况/條件下會發生
e.g. When lead is added to petrol, it improves the car’s performance.
= If lead is added to petrol, it improves the car’s performance
When mixed with water, the powder forms a smooth paste.
= If mixed with water, the powder forms a smooth paste.
2. = considering that 考慮到, 旣然

If = 如果, 講既係假設性既情況:
If he calls, she will be happy.
(他未必一定會打黎, 但如果佢打黎的話, 她會開心)

When = 當. 即是話好大可機性, 發生只係遲早既事:
When he calls, tell him I am happy.
(當他打黎時....) 你知佢一定會打黎, 但唔知既事

if=如果 when=當or何時,兩者好大分別....
for example, If you see her, give her this thing.如果你看見她,把這東西給她.
For example, When did you last see him?你上次是什麼時候看見他的?

好似話:...如果...or如果...我就...
呢個多數都係由自己做出發點去思想
WHEN=當,何時
如果when喺句子前面就會係用黎表示何時
何時...?When...?
但係如果when喺句子中間就係會當
...當......when...
同埋,何時同埋當呢兩個英文字ge讀音係唔同ge
何時係用平音,即係好似個一字咁過
當就係低d ge,都係平去~
