Fatty liver can be due to:
- Diet: too many fat to be processed by the liver and exhausted the liver, so the fat just stays there. Another possibility (very unlikely) is that you have not been eating for many days and your liver needs to process your fat reserve to generate energy.
- Disease/Toxin: some disease e.g. hepatitis C, make the liver cells sick hence they cannot process fat effectively. Excessive drinking (wine/beer) would damage your liver too
I suspect that your problem is due to the first one - diet. Fatty liver is reversible - your liver can become normal after sometime if it does not need to process that much fat.
You need to control your food intake especially fatty food. A balance diet is a must.
You must not take drug to loss fat because many drugs are metabolised by the liver and it would increase the workload of the liver.
You also must not starve yourself, you must gradually change your eating habit because sudden starving will increase fat metabolism but the liver and will increase its workload.
*******YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR EATING HABIT**************
(exercising improves your health in general but does not help directly solving your fatty liver)
