Train from NYC to DC?

If you go on the Amtrak website and plug your travel info in (destinations and date) it will give you the times and costs of trains to choose from. You can purchase your tickets online as well, and you have the option of having the tickets sent to you (which usually costs a little extra).

Fare costs will vary depending when you are traveling as prices are higher or lower depending on the time of year, day of the week, and time of day.

That's not a lot of information. Check out the Amtrak website. You plug in the days you are traveling, and they give you various rates depending on what time the train leaves.

The only train going between NYC and DC is Amtrak. You can go to their website and check out fares and look for discounts or sales.

There are also buses like Bolt Bus and Megabus that run between NYC and DC and would be cheaper than the train.
