Is battery cell rechargable?

I have been arguing with my friends whether battery cell is rechargable. He keeps on saying that a battery cell (CR2032) that you find in a calculator is rechargable. Can someone confirm?

The CR2032 is not rechargeable unless you want it to explode in your face. However there is a Lithium-Ion battery LiR2032 that is rechargeable and is a direct replacement for the CR2032.
