cancel the sat appointment? and some other sat questions.?

I should go and take the SAT test in june this month but now I still think that I'm not ready for the test, should I go and take it? some of my friends said just take it to experience it, some said " why don't you prepare well in this summer vacation and then you take it"
I don't know what to do!

by the way,
if I don't want to take it, can I cancel its appointment?
how can I cancel it and will the college know I cancel it and then there is a bad impress ?
if I don't go to take the test, I won't get a zero, right?

This is my first time try to take SAT test.
and still want to take some subject test in senior.
please help!

You could take it now to see the score you make. If you are unhappy with your score it gives you enough time to study for it. Also since you get your score per section you will have an idea which section you would need to work on. At least you will have a feel of it. And you never know if you are ready for it unless you take the test. You may suprise yourself.

As for the subject test in the fall there are 3 testing dates. You could retake the SAT and take Subject Test just not on the same day.

No you will not get a score of zero
Not showing up pretty much cancels it.
I suggest you take it now.

It didn't kill me and know I know what to study.

Also if end up taking it after the summer for the first time and you don't like your score it might be to late to retake it again and/or you will have less time to study for it.

In other words take it this Saturday.
