what about you,how about you點分

"What about you?" 和 "How about you?" 都是 [片語] (phrases)。在對話時，無論是中文或英文，答話時往往用片語，而不是一個完整句子，所以沒有 verb。

"What about you?" 和 "How about you?" 意思不同， 因為 "what" 解 [甚麼]，而 "how" 解 [怎樣]。

例如:
How do you do? 你覺得怎樣? (你好嗎?)
What do you do? 你做甚麼? (你的職業是甚麼?)

如果人家問你:
how do you do?
你可以答： "fine, thank you, how about you?"
但是: "fine, thank you, what about you?" 就意思上不對。

如果人家問你:
what's up?
你可以答： "I've been busy with my exam's, what about you?"
但是: "I've been busy with my exam's, how about you? 雖然也可以，但意思上不及 "what about you" 好，因為 "what" 是反問 "what's up with you?"。

如果人家問你:
what do you do? 你是做甚麽工作的？
你可以答： "I am a land surveyor, what about you?" [我是做土地测量員的。你呢？你又是做甚麽工作的？]。意思很清楚。
但是: 如果答："I am a land surveyor, how about you?" [我是做土地测量員的。你呢？你又怎樣？]。意思不清楚。

What about you ?= How about you?. There is no difference in meaning. Actually they mean the same thing.
How / What about you =phases = Do you have any suggestions? =What do you think?
There are a lot of phrases widely used in spoken English. As they are phrases they have no verbs.
e.g. What for? Howdy? So what? Same to you. You too. Happy birthday to you. Happy New Year. Bon Voyage Bon appetit.
They are mainly used in spoken English.

What about you?
通會在討論一樣項目上的「想法」上，
回應會是
I think ...
可以是意見或決定是...「同意」還是「不同意」
How about you?
通會在參與一樣項目上的「意向」上，
I will
我會做的是...「參加/加入」還是「不參加/不加入」

當然兩者有情況是可以互為使用在差不多意思的。

沒有verb也不為奇，因為我問時都不知你的verb(動詞)是甚麼，對麼？
