English question, please help?

You cannot use "Media" instead of "Journalism " because "journalism" means collecting, writing and publishing or producing news whereas "media" refers to different means of communication: radio, TV, magazines, newspapers, etc.

"Are you afraid of" and "Are you scared of" are correct.

No dont change the name of your school. the correct grammar would be:
1: Are you afraid of ...?
2: Are you scared of ... ?

u can go for Media school if the school teach much more than print journalism ... like tv reporting ... editing news and vids ... anchoring ... etc ...

but it wud sound a lot better if u keep the name like Shanghai International School for Media and Journalism

now in both cases it will be ' are u afraid / scared of ... ' cause the question is asking about what your condition is, such as ' are u fine? or are you hurt?' it is not asking about what you do, such as, ' do you like it? do you work hard?'
