No. of moles of HCl = 11.0 x (25.0/1000) = 0.275 mol

Volume of the final solution = 25 + 75 = 100 cm³ = 0.1 dm³

Molarity of the final solution = 0.275/0.1 = 2.75 M

Alternative method:

Before adding water: M1 = 11.0 M, V1 = 25.0 cm³
After adding water: M2 = ? M, V2 = 25.0 + 75.0 = 100.0 cm³

M1V1 = M2V2
11.0 x 25.0 = M2 x 100.0
M2 = 2.75 (M)
