✔ 最佳答案
x^2 + 5x + 6
= (x + 3)(x + 2)

Notes:
- first terms are factors of x^2......x and x
- second terms are factors of 2, when you multiply them you get 6 (last term) and when you add them, you get 5 (middle term).........3 and 2

x^2 + 5x + 6
= x^2 + 3x + 2x + 6
= (x^2 + 3x) + (2x + 6)
= x(x + 3) + 2(x + 3)
= (x + 3)(x + 2)

What are two numbers that multiply to six but add to 5? 3 and 2:

(x + 2)(x + 3)

Have a great day :-)

Okay,

when factorizing polynomials of this form, 1 simple rule helps.

Look for 2 numbers that add to give the middle term and multiply to give the 3rd term

in this case it is 2 and 3 and your factorized eqn is as such:

(x+2)(x+3)

hope this helps

x^2 + 5x + 6

=x^2+3x+2x+6

=x(x+3)+2(x+3)

=(x+3)(x+2)

x^2 + 3x + 2x + 6

= x(x + 3) + 2(x + 3)

= (x + 2) (x + 3)

(x + 2)(x + 3)
