甲車速度48千米/小時, 乙車速度36千米/小時.兩車同時間出發從A地到B地, 甲車途中修車3小時, 結果同時到達, 求AB兩地之間的距離?~

x/48+3=x/36
x/36-x/48=3
48x/1728-36x/1728=3
12x/1728=3
x/144=3
x=432千米(km)
let x h be the time that car A is traveling.
x + 3 is the total used time
48x is the total distance travelled by A
36( x+3) is total distance travelled by B
AS they should be equal
so. 48x = 36(x +3)
after solving.
x=1/9
required distance = 1/9 times 48
=16/3 km
