Permanent Exhibits

The Orsay Museum houses works of art that are created between 1848 and 1914.

A typical tour around the museum starts from the lower level, followed by the fifth level (the collection of impressionist works can be accessed via the escalator located deep in the main hall) and the second level.

All exhibition halls are equipped with guide service.

Some items may be removed temporarily out of their location of exhibition on loan or for restoration. Please enquire museum staff if you need further information.


Guide service is available to all visitors including individuals, groups, senior citizens, children and the audially impaired for all permanent and periodical exhibiltions

Static Collection

Aosai Museum has a collection of art pieces from 1848 to 1914.

Vistors can start from the lowest/ground floor, then to the fifth floor ( For those who enjoys the impressionist pieces, simply follow the escalator from the heart of room and it will take you there direclty). At last, visitors can enter the second floor to wrap up the visit.

Guided tours are available for each exhibits sections.

There may be some missing places in each section. That is due to pieces may be displayed elsewhere, or in a renovating progress. Further information may contact the information center/desk.

Guided tours are available for the static and the temporary exhibits. The tours are designed for the following visitors: individuals, groups, adults, childrens and people with hearing problems.
